With 20+ years of event planning experience under her belt, Cathy knows what it takes to create meaningful events where guests can truly relax and retreat. While she has a special place in her heart for helping couples who are investing in a marriage retreat, Cathy loves working with all groups to help make their experience as excellent and impactful as possible.
Cathy has been a part of the WinShape family since 2006 and counts it a privilege to be able to work on “this side of heaven,” as some affectionately describe WinShape Retreat. To her, work doesn’t even feel like “work.” She enjoys driving onto WinShape’s beautiful campus each day, full of expectation for what fun things God has in store for her.
Cathy and her husband, Stan, have two daughters, three sons, two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law. Her greatest joy in life is being “Mimi” to her eight grandchildren. On the weekends, you can find her and her husband at the lake riding the pontoon boat, firing up the grill, playing with the kids, or just relaxing under the shade. That’s unless she’s not drawing up a new house plan or two (she also has her Architectural CAD certification!).
