After moving to Rome, Georgia to attend Berry College in 2006, Lauren found a place she could call home forever. Following graduation, Lauren stayed at Berry to complete her Master of Business Administration before moving in to a full-time role with WinShape Foundation. It was during this time that Lauren met her husband, Matt, who also serves at WinShape Foundation.
Lauren’s background with WinShape began in 2010, when she started as a part-time ropes course facilitator for (then) WinShape Wilderness. From there, she moved into a hosting role with WinShape Teams, eventually making her way to the WinShape Events Team full-time in 2012.
Through serving in several roles at WinShape over the years, Lauren has gained a well-rounded understanding of the entire Foundation. This deeper knowledge allows her to work cross-functionally to ensure success for her clients and team. She has a passion for people and the unique stories they bring to the table. Being a forward thinker, Lauren places great importance on always anticipating the needs of others and finding ways to enrich their experience at WinShape. Most of all, she enjoys seeing guests leave WinShape with a renewed sense of hope.
Together, Lauren and Matt have two children, Jackson and Caroline. In their free time, they enjoy hosting college students at their home, watching and playing sports, and having picnics with their kids. At any other time, you can probably find Lauren drinking a good cup of joe, baking, or reading by the fireplace.
